It is available a Fedora8-based VmWare virtual appliance image from the Open Handset Developers community for developing Java/Android applications.
This appliance has been designed for developers who want a simple, fast and easy way to work or just to experiment with Java/Android platform taking advantage of a fresh ready-to-use and powerful development environment. All the work to set up SDKs and IDE packages within a Linux platform has been already carried out for you.
